Soapstone block sink with bowed front“When what you want doesn’t exist, create it." That is exactly what we have done.  As craftsmen, we weren’t satisfied with the stone sinks that were available for our customers.  Not only were these sinks built using an inconsistent set of standards, but the available shapes were unimaginative.  We have a passion for creativity, so pouring ourselves into these creations is very fulfilling.  You can imagine it is especially rewarding when we are able to get you excited enough to put them on display in your home.

I wish I could say that I am completely satisfied with the way we are promoting our sinks on this website, but I am not.  We are going to be improving this site quite a bit over the next 30 days. You can also visit our main site www.buckscountysoapstone.com if you wish.

We offer these sinks made using soapstone.  We are the only manufacturer of some of the sinks you will come across on this website.

Block sinks are sinks carved from one monolithic block of soapstone, these sinks offer 1 1/8” radiused interior corners and the bottoms are tapered toward the drain.  You will find more on this type of sink under the heading Block Sinks.

Bread baker sinkApron front or Farmhouse style sinks have been growing in popularity over the last decade.  Most people have their interest raised because of the aes thetic appeal of the apron of the sink showing but after using the sink discover other benefits.  Having the sink closer to you is easier on your back so it is more user friendly.  This also allows your faucet to be a bit closer to you, which is especially important to everyone under 5 foot 2 inches tall.

Bucks County Soapstone offers many other options for your Soapstone Apron Front Sink.

Slant fronts which make it easier to take large items in and out of your sink
Varied depths are available, while 10” outside depth is the most popular it isn’t the only option.

Custom placement of drains.  You may wonder why this would be important. Let’s say that you have a small kitchen and you want to maximize the space by placing a trash can under the sink on the right side.  We can locate the drain hole to the left side of your sink, opening up the right side for your trash can or just to have more usable storage.
If you aren’t replacing your cabinetry but want an apron front sink see the section marked False Front Sinks for our creative solution.
